Could not have said it better myself! I'm so sick of the high flying dev companies with their shiny portfolios smack full of "ajaxy awesomeness", but you'll need a small datacenter just to run it! And the worst thing is, customers doesn't know it when they've been ripped off! If you get a bad hair cut, you can tell and complain. If your car misfire after a service, you can tell and complain.. but very few people can spot a duff application when they see one! I will print this and hang on our wall!
